UCI Wins Bid of Weak Current System Integration Project of Binhai Express Line (Fuzhou-Changle Airport Intercity Railway Project) Worth 471.2mn Yuan

There was a piece of good news. The consortium set up by UCI and Fujian Urban Construction Intelligent Control Co., Ltd. recently won the bid of the weak current system integration supply and service project of Binhai express line (Fuzhou-Changle Airport intercity railway project) worth 471.2 million yuan.

Binhai express line (Fuzhou-Changle Airport intercity railway project) includes 13 stations, depots and a control center. UCI will take charge of the integration supply and service for the communication system, integrated supervision and control system (ISCS, BAS, ACS and cloud platform), automatic fire alarm and gas fire suppression system (including installation), automatic fare collection system, as well as security system, Fuzhou Metro’s data standardization services and the first round of network security planning (2023-2027), etc.

In terms of the smart park, UCI will be responsible for the management platform, integrated cabling system, computer network system, video surveillance system, access control system, information release system, smart walkway system, electronic fence system, data center room, UPS distribution system, etc.

This is another big order secured by UCI in Fuzhou since it won the bid of the weak current system integration supply and service project of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 4’s Phase I project at the beginning of 2022. It is the second multi-specialty weak current system integration (including communication system, integrated supervision and control system, automatic fire alarm and gas fire suppression system, automatic fare collection system, as well as security system) order that the company has secured in 2023 and also the 11th urban rail cloud project that it has won. Meanwhile, it is the first order of Fujian UCI, a joint venture established by UCI and Fuzhou Metro Industry. UCI’s self-developed cloud platform-based rail transit automation system will provide smart urban rail solutions for the line. All the self-developed products to be provided by UCI for the project will be produced in its independent and controllable intelligent manufacturing base in Fuzhou.

Previously, the first section of Fuzhou Metro Line 4’s Phase I project was put into operation on August 27. UCI customized a fully automatic integrated supervisory and control system for the line and offered the AFC system, security system, closed-circuit television (CCTV), public address system (PA) and passenger information system (PIS) to ensure safe operation. UCI won bids in Fuzhou, which not only reflects proprietors’ trust in the company, but also highlights its brand influence and core competitiveness in the field of metro weak current system. In the future, UCI will rely on its own competitive technologies in the field of urban rail weak current system and urban rail cloud to support the project construction and empower the intelligent transportation in Fuzhou.

Binhai express line is a rapid rail transit line that connects the main urban area of Fuzhou with Binhai New Town and Fuzhou Changle International Airport. The line starts at Fuzhou Railway Station and terminates at Wenling Station (formerly known as Dahe Station). With a total length of around 62.2 km, the line was built underground and elevated, with a subgrade. There are 13 stations, including 10 underground stations and 3 elevated stations, and another 2 stations are likely to be built in the coming days. The line was equipped with Dahe depot and Dongsheng parking lot, 3 main substations and 1 control center. In the early stage, the trains are 4-car type-A trains. Compared with other lines of Fuzhou Metro, Binhai express line runs faster and is the fastest in the city.
