UCI attended the first design liaison meeting about the weak current system integration project of the Binhai express line (Fuzhou-Changle Airport intercity railway project) organized by Fuzhou Metro Group on September 18. The attendees include Fujian UCI, Guangzhou Metro Design & Research Institute and sub-suppliers.

The design liaison meeting covered various specialties, including communication systems, integrated monitoring systems, automatic fire alarms and gas fire suppression systems, as well as automatic fare collection systems. It was expected to continue until the end of September.

Technical specifications of each system were detailed at the design liaison meeting. Technicians from the participating units focused on the research and discussion of the composition scheme, equipment selection, technical standards and application scheme of the weak current system, and preliminarily determined matters like deepening of the design scheme and supply demand.

In the project, UCI was responsible for the Binhai express line and Fuzhou Metro smart park. In addition to the across-line weak current system, the company also took charge of Fuzhou Metro’s data standardization services, the first round of network security planning (2023-2027), the management platform of the smart park, the data center room and the corresponding systems. To ensure the success of these endeavors, the company’s principal leaders were in command and mobilized elites from all over the country to provide the greatest support in elements. Professional departments were required to carry out the most extensive and in-depth research and demonstration to ensure that the results produced could stand the test of history and practice.

All the self-developed products to be provided by UCI for the project will be produced in its independent and controllable intelligent manufacturing base in Fuzhou. The manufacturing base, on one hand, optimized its production line and expanded production capacity to ensure stable and reliable quality of products; on the other hand, it strengthened supply chain management to ensure product supply capacity.

The design liaison meeting is the first step during the construction of a project and also the basic guarantee for the stable and orderly implementation of the project. The success of the design liaison meeting not only clarified the direction and priorities of work for the subsequent construction, but also laid a solid foundation for the construction of quality projects for UCI. In the future, UCI will push forward the construction of the Binhai express line at a high level and with high standards and be brave to forge ahead and make continuous innovations to turn the line into a new benchmark for Fuzhou Metro lines.
