The 2023 China Urban Rail Transit Expert Forum, co-organized by the Expert and Academic Committees of the China Association of Metros (CAM) and Urban Rapid Rail Transit, was rounded off in Xiamen on September 25. UCI’s Product Director Zhang Likuan attended the forum and discussed industry development trends and hot topics with approximately 300 experts in urban rail transit from all over the country.

The ceremony to issue appointment letters and commend outstanding members of the third session of CAM’s Expert and Academic Committees was held at the forum, and prizes were awarded to outstanding governing units, editorial board members, reviewers, correspondents and paper authors of Urban Rapid Rail Transit. Zhang Hui, the Party branch secretary and general manager of UCI, was appointed as a new member of the committee’s Division of Technology and Equipment. UCI was honored as an outstanding governing unit of Urban Rapid Rail Transit and Zhang Bei from its Sales and Marketing Department was hailed as an outstanding correspondent of the magazine.

UCI, a standing governing unit of CAM, deputy director unit of its Technical Equipment Committee, and vice president unit of its Modern Tram Branch, has been maintaining close cooperation with CAM. Under the guidance of CAM’s leaders and experts, UCI keeps giving play to its advantages in the field of digital transportation and makes in-depth and meticulous efforts to achieve the independence of equipment, as moves to support the high-quality development of China's urban rail industry.

UCI, a governing unit of Urban Rapid Rail Transit, has always placed the emphasis on the popularization of urban rail transit. With continuous and in-depth efforts on the industry development, UCI makes public all kinds of data, innovative technologies and industrial development direction via Urban Rapid Rail Transit to actively increase its influence in the industry. In this year, its two articles, Cloud Platform-based Urban Rail Transit Automated Integration System Architecture and Practice and Design and Implementation of Edge Cloud Based on the Intelligent Control All-in-one Machine have been successively accepted by Urban Rapid Rail Transit. Another two pieces of papers were accepted by Urban Rail Transit, the English version of Urban Rapid Rail Transit, and were included into the SCI. The title of an outstanding governing unit marks the affirmation of UCI’s active participation into the work of Urban Rapid Rail Transit.

Behind the honor is CAM’s correct guidance and great support from Urban Rapid Rail Transit. UCI will, as always, provide strong public opinion guidance, mental impetus and technical support for the sound and rapid development of China's urban rail transit sector, and make unremitting efforts to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
