Chongqing Bishan-Tongliang Line Weak Current System Equipment Project Promotion Meeting Successfully Staged

Recently, Chongqing “Suburban Railway Bishan-Tongliang Line PPP Project Weak Current System Subcontracting Project” Equipment Project Promotion Meeting was held at Chongqing Yuxi Expressway Construction and Operation Co., Ltd. Dong Wei, deputy general manager of UCD Investment and Construction Management Department and general manager of Yuxi Expressway; Zhang Zhengbin, deputy general manager of Yuxi Expressway; Fu Heping, chief economist of Yuxi Expressway; and Meng Hongbo, technical advisor of Bishan-Tongliang Line Project and chief engineer of Yunnan Jingjian Rail Transit, attended the meeting.

Zhang Hui, secretary of UCI Party Branch and general manager of UCI; Wang Linghong, deputy secretary of UCI Party Branch and deputy general manager of UCI; and heads of UCI Bishan-Tongliang Line Weak Current System Project Department; Li Hongjun, project manager of UCD Bishan-Tongliang Line Fourth Section; Zhu Zhun, chief engineer of UCD Bishan-Tongliang Line Fourth Section; and Wang Lin, director of Yuxi Expressway Safety Project Department, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, heads of the project department gave a detailed report on overall progress, materials supply, independently-developed products in various fields, the deadline of mass production and relevant work, in relation to Bishan-Tongliang Line Weak Current System Project. Simultaneously, they introduced the on-site verification plan of independently-developed products. Heads of business department, operation department, project management department and technical department of Yuxi Expressway provided guidance and raised requirements for related work.

Wang Linghong, a seasoned worker in urban construction, participated in several major construction projects. He said he would transform his years of experience in project management into practical measures to realize rapid and orderly progress of Bishan-Tongliang Line Project. In the future, UCI would accelerate the implementation and promotion of relevant decisions and arrangements concerning the project, strengthen communication and coordination, pool resources and forces, fully mobilize internal and external resources to support Bishan-Tongliang Line Project Department, ensure construction elements, quicken the production of various independently-developed products, lay equal emphasis on construction safety, project quality and construction progress, and complete various tasks with high quality as scheduled.

Zhang Hui stated that UCI fully recognized the importance and urgency of the construction of Bishan-Tongliang Line Project, and regarded the project construction as one of the most important tasks. To steadily promote the project construction, UCI optimized the allocation of working forces, forming a working atmosphere in which leaders at various levels and management staff well performed their duties. Meanwhile, UCI made internal adjustments to better serve Bishan-Tongliang Line Project. The project department worked hard day and night and accelerated the progress of work. All staff of UCI strained every nerve to boost the construction of Bishan-Tongliang Line Project with deep political awareness, strong sense of responsibility, higher operational efficiency and tenacious working style.

Dong Wei clarified that as the first rail transit line in China to adopt “PPP + TOD” model, Bishan-Tongliang Line Project serves as an important growth pole that supports the integrated development of Bishan and Tongliang and fosters the high-quality development of western Chongqing. As an important infrastructure and livelihood project that bolsters the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Bishan-Tongliang Line Project receives wide attention from Chongqing Railway Group and Chongqing municipal government. Simultaneously, Bishan-Tongliang Line Project boasts a major financing and construction project for UCD in the new development stage of the 14th Five-Year Plan. As the first line that UCD makes a foray into urban and suburban railways, the construction of Bishan-Tongliang Line Project influences the brand and image of UCD. All participating parties strictly obeyed the task list and followed the deadline, accelerated the progress of work, and firmly won the battle of project construction.

Dong Wei emphasized that Bishan-Tongliang Line Weak Current System Project involved a large number of independently-developed products. UCI should spare no effort and strengthen horizontal and vertical coordination. While fully utilizing project experience, measures should be tailored to local conditions and classified to ensure that Bishan-Tongliang Line Weak Current System Project was completely put into trial operation with high quality. In the future, UCI will cement the awareness of high-quality projects, establish first-class quality, plan and construct with high standards and high quality, and build the project into a benchmark project that can withstand the test of history and the people.
