Since winning the bid for “Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Adjustment Plan (Ferry Station to Taishan Road Station) Communications System, Integrated Monitoring System, AFC System Equipment Procurement & Integration Project” in June, UCI has actively cooperated with the clients in the construction work and taken effective measures to accelerate the early work.

From July to September, UCI assisted Qingdao Subway Group in successively holding the first and second design exchange meetings, and organized the Project Department to complete the report on the integration plan on October 25.

As the undertaking party of “Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Adjustment Plan Communications System, Integrated Monitoring System, AFC System Equipment Procurement & Integration Project”, UCI has collaborated with more than 30 experts and technicians from clients, construction companies and consulting companies, such as Qingdao Subway Group, Qingdao Subway No. 1 Construction Branch, Qingdao Subway Operations Company, China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group, China Railway No. 1 Survey and Design Institute, and China Railway Communication Signal Survey and Design Institute at design exchanges meetings, on thoroughly discussing systematic functions and technical specifications, as well as related documents, drawings, standards and follow-up working plans.

Finally, after consultation with experts, according to the technical plan of UCI, various products, technical requirements and indicators of the project were clarified, and relevant meeting summaries were formed, which laid a technical foundation for follow-up project construction.

The early-stage meetings were successfully staged, signaling a phased progress in the construction of “Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Adjustment Plan Project”. “Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Adjustment Plan (Ferry Station to Taishan Road Station) Communications System, Integrated Monitoring System, AFC System Equipment Procurement & Integration Project” mainly provides equipment procurement, integration and related services for transmission, official telephone, special telephone, wireless communication, video monitoring, broadcasting, clock, passenger information, office automation, power supply system, public security & fire wireless, public security & video transmission, public security & video monitoring, public security & computer network, public security & power supply, comprehensive monitoring (including environment & equipment monitoring, power monitoring, etc.), access control, security inspection, energy management, automatic fare collection, and other systems.

“Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Adjustment Plan (Ferry Station to Taishan Road Station)” covers a length of about 3.84 km. All underground lines, there are three stations. Originally, in Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project, a control center was set up in the vehicle base at East Liaoyang Road, and station equipment of various systems in the project was connected to Qingdao Subway Line 2 Phase-I Project Control Center. The line connects important areas such as Jinmao Bay Commercial Area and the International Cruise Port Area. Among them, International Cruise Port Area undertakes the task of building a first-class marine port in Qingdao and forging an international marine city. The construction of the project bridges rapid public transportation corridor, effectively meets the transportation needs along western old urban area, bolsters the development of the area, and injects strong momentum into the development of the International Cruise Port Area.
