PROJECT TYPE AND CONTENT

Modern Tram Demonstration Line Project for Central Urban Agglomeration in Southern Yunnan Province is a major project for the Honghe prefecture Party committee and the prefecture government to accelerate the pilot work of the national comprehensive reform of new urbanization, promote the development of central urban agglomeration in Southern Yunnan Province, fully play the leading role of modern tram projects in urban and economic development, improve the level and quality of urban development, and improve the quality of public transportation services in central cities of Southern Yunnan Province.

It is the first modern tram project in the PPP project library of the National Development and Reform Commission. It is also the one of the second batch of PPP demonstration projects announced by the Ministry of Finance. It is one of the 20 major projects listed by the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government as key supervision projects in 2016.

The demonstration line has a total length of 60.799 km, with 104 stations, 1 vehicle base, 1 depot, 2 parking lots, and 1 dispatching center.

The main line of Line M1 starts from Mengzi North Station, and runs southward along the west extension of Tianma Road to Shilipu, where it crosses the Caoguan Branch Railway. Stations are set up along the route at Yuguopu Town, Changchongzhai Village, New Mengzi Airport, Dataizi Village, Nisu Town and Shilipu Village. From Shilipu Station, the line turns southwest to Guihua Road, passes through Mafang Village and Yongjun Primary School, then connects to Honghe Avenue at the intersection of Shanghai Road and Honghe Avenue, and then intersects with Line M2 here for transfer. The line is then laid along Honghe Avenue to the west of the planned East Coach Station, where the terminal station, East Coach Station, is set. Along the route, the line intersects with Line M3 and Line M4 for transfer at Beijing Road intersection, and at Yinhe Road intersection, respectively.

The main line opened in the early stage is Branch Lines M1 and M4, Line M1 starts from Mengzi North Station to Shilipu Station, and Line M4 starts from Shilipu Station to Shanghai Road Intersection Station. The main line has a total length of 13.3 km, and the depot is Mengzi North Parking Lot.

UCI has provided a complete set of signalling systems for the center, main line, vehicle mount and intersection of the project.

PROJECT PERFORMANCE

The procurement project of electromechanical equipment for Yibin Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit Lines T2 and T4 mainly includes the integrated supply and service for signalling system, communication system, power monitoring system, and platform screen door system. The management scope covers design liaison, factory inspection, supply, transportation, installation supervision, joint debugging, trial operation, and training.
