PROJECT OVERVIEW：

The Ningbo Rail Transit Line 8 Project (Phase I) generally runs from southeast to northwest. The line starts from Jiangcun Village, Yinzhou District in the southeast and ends at Jiangbei Avenue, Jiangbei District in the northwest, with a total length of 23.3 km, all of which are laid underground.

19 stations are arranged in the Line 8 Project (Phase I), including 9 transfer stations; a depot and a parking lot (Xiayingnan Base for Vehicle and Hongtang Parking Lot) are also arranged. The depots of Lines 7 and 8 are co-located and share one testing line; there are two main transformer stations, Xiejia main transformer station and Fujia main transformer station, among which the former is an existing main transformer station and is shared with Line 4; the latter is a newly-built main transformer station, which is located in Xiayingnan Depot and shared with Lines 7 and K2.

PROJECT PERFORMANCE

The Ningbo Rail Transit Line 8 Project (Phase I) consists of: 19 stations, 1 control center, 1 standby control center, 1 depot and 1 parking lot; dedicated communication systems for Ningbo Rail Transit Line 8 Project (Phase I) (transmission, video surveillance, broadcasting, digital operation and maintenance, integrated wiring, power supply, centralized recording, and modular data center of control center) required along Line 8, official telephone system, dedicated telephone system and video conference system for Line 6 (Phase I), Line 7 and Line 8 (Phase I), passenger information system for Line 7 and Line 8 (Phase I), network communication system (network transmission system and dedicated network telephone system); and the procurement, installation supervision and cooperative debugging of network security integration platform equipment, network management equipment, spare parts, and corresponding cables and materials. All of these are to achieve fully automatic operation of Line 8 Project (Phase I), while reserving technical and physical access conditions for subsequent projects.
