Chongqing Bitong Line Communications Transmission System Achieves Ring Network Connection
CreateDate:2024-06-28
Recently, the communications transmission system for the weak current system subcontracting project of the Chongqing Rail Transit Bishan-Tongliang Line (Bitong Line) PPP Project achieved a ring network connection. This significant milestone provided strong support for the testing and commissioning of communication systems, information infrastructure systems, security systems, and AFC systems, thereby promoting the smooth progress of the entire project.
The Bitong Line is an east-west suburban railway project, the first true PPP+TOD rail transit project implemented by BUCG in China. The line spans 37.517 km with 9 stations and 1 Tongliang Parking Yard. It includes 3 elevated stations and 6 at-grade stations, with an average distance between stations of 4.583 km. The line uses urban rail express trains with a maximum operating speed of 140 km/h.
Facing numerous challenges, the Bitong Line project team from UCI exhibited exceptional professionalism and resilience. They sacrificed weekends and holidays, fully dedicating themselves to the project with meticulous planning and thorough organization. The team conducted detailed assessments of preconditions for single-machine and single-system testing, and frequently inspected installation progress. They created a comprehensive log of issues affecting testing and tracked them dynamically to ensure timely resolution. Project leaders provided close supervision and coordination, significantly reduced problem-solving time, and enabled the completion of transmission system testing at the last station within a day after power was supplied.
With the successful delivery of the final service, the Bitong Line’s “information highway” is officially operational, thus providing a solid foundation for subsequent specialized system testing and work safety information cloud networking. This achievement showcases the project team’s efficient execution and hard work, boosting confidence and momentum for the project’s overall completion.
Moving forward, UCI will continue to uphold a strong sense of overall responsibility and dedication, and demonstrate the commitment and accountability of a state-owned enterprise. The team will actively accelerate various testing and commissioning tasks, with a view to laying a solid foundation for comprehensive system integration and testing, as well as the smooth validation of fully automated scenarios.
