UCI Partners with Ningxia Mobile to Build Intelligent Computing Center and Boost Ningxia’s Digital Economy

Recently, UCI closely collaborated with China Mobile Group Ningxia Company Limited (“Ningxia Mobile”) and successfully completed the construction of the Ningxia Mobile Intelligent Computing Center project. Located in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, this milestone project enhances Ningxia Mobile’s computing infrastructure service capabilities and gives great impetus to local artificial intelligence and computing industry development.
Ningxia Mobile Intelligent Computing Center marks UCI’s fifth successful bid for such centers this year. Prior to this, UCI had also secured contracts for the Shaanxi Ankang Intelligent Computing Center, Phase I of the Guangzhou Intelligent Computing Center, the Yichang Data Center, and the China Telecom Ningxia Intelligent Computing Center, with a total contract value nearing RMB 3 billion. From planning to operation, the Ningxia Mobile Intelligent Computing Center project was efficiently completed in just two months, covering core activities like equipment procurement, software and hardware integration, and system integration and testing. Ultimately, the project deployed hundreds of computing servers equipped with corresponding computing cards and a full suite of facilities, providing a robust computing capacity of around 2400 petaflops, showcasing UCI’s expertise in intelligent computing center construction.
Ningxia Mobile Intelligent Computing Center, a large-scale platform integrating advanced artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, significantly enhances the computing service capabilities of Ningxia Mobile. By introducing cutting-edge AI servers and hardware facilities, it has propelled Ningxia Mobile’s substantial advancement in artificial intelligence computing. The successful implementation of this project further strengthens Yinchuan City’s prowess in the intelligent computing center domain, giving new impetus to the continuous rapid development of the regional computing industry.
UCI, as the primary technology provider and contractor for the project, has provided comprehensive technical support and solutions. In addition to overseeing infrastructure construction and optimization, UCI has actively engaged in strategic planning for operations and maintenance of the intelligent computing center, establishment of security systems, and subsequent development of platform products. Furthermore, UCI has collaborated closely with Ningxia Mobile to foster an industry ecosystem, aiming to create an open and mutually beneficial computing service environment.
In this collaboration, Ningxia Mobile has provided robust network and platform support for the project, thus ensuring stable operation and high performance of the intelligent computing services. The collaboration between both parties achieves perfect synergy of resources and strengths and also accelerates the entire process from planning to operation of the intelligent computing center, thus ensuring high-quality project delivery.
UCI, a key member of the Zhongguancun Digital Economic Industry Alliance, has participated in multiple communications and exchanges between Ningxia government and enterprises, and also continuously increased its investment and research efforts in Ningxia. These actions actively support the vibrant growth of Ningxia’s digital economy. The successful implementation of the intelligent computing center project is a testament to the deep cooperation between UCI and Ningxia. Not only does it set a new milestone for UCI in the fields of intelligent computing centers and digital city construction, but it also contributes significantly to the digital economy development of Ningxia and the entire western region of China.
