Recently, the project team of Taiyuan Metro Line 1 Phase I Cloud Platform (Line 1 Cloud Platform) and the operations and maintenance team of Taiyuan Metro Line 2 Phase I Cloud Platform (Line 2 Cloud Platform) of the UCI Taiyuan Branch successfully completed the milestone schedule for the implementation of micro-module machine rooms for the control center’s cloud platform through close communication and excellent teamwork, thereby laying a solid foundation for the integration and optimization of Taiyuan’s urban rail transit network.

The Line 1 Cloud Platform is an extension and enhancement of the existing Line 2 network cloud platform, aimed at meeting the overall planning needs of Taiyuan’s urban rail transit network. This project involves comprehensive expansion and construction in critical areas such as computing, storage and networking to ensure stable and reliable resource services for Line 1. Both projects are undertaken by UCI, showcasing the client’s trust in the company and demonstrating the company’s excellent project management capabilities and high level of professionalism.

Currently, the Line 1 Cloud Platform project team has successfully completed the installation tasks for station cabinets and modular machine rooms in the main center, laying a solid foundation for subsequent installation of equipment in micro-module machine rooms. During construction, the Line 2 Cloud Platform operations and maintenance team worked closely and collaboratively with the Line 1 Cloud Platform project team. By establishing efficient communication mechanisms, both teams promptly shared construction progress and solutions, thus ensuring orderly project integration. Meanwhile, the Line 2 Cloud Platform operations and maintenance personnel worked in shifts to support the construction operations of the Line 1 Cloud Platform project team, fostering mutual learning and support. Together, they tackled challenges effectively, significantly improved construction efficiency, and ensured safety and quality.

Previously, to ensure the smooth connection to Line 1, the Line 2 Cloud Platform operations and maintenance team expanded and upgraded the existing UPS power modules. Throughout the entire operation, the team consistently followed the principle of putting work safety first, integrating work safety concepts into every stage of construction. By strictly following operational procedures and safety standards, they ensured the smooth progress of the expansion and upgrade process, thereby providing solid assurance for the successful connection to Line 1.
