To fully implement the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035 of Shunyi District and the work deployment of the Plan of Shunyi District for High-end, Precision and Advanced Technology Industry Development during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period, further advance the strategy of industrial internet innovation and development, promote the vigorous growth of the industrial internet industry in Shunyi District, give fresh impetus to the digital transformation of manufacturing in Shunyi District, and support the high-quality economic development of Shunyi District, the Beijing Shunyi District Association of Industrial Internet was established under the guidance of the Beijing Shunyi District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology. The Beijing Shunyi District Conference of Digital Transformation in Manufacturing and the Inaugural Meeting of the Beijing Shunyi District Association of Industrial Internet were held on April 11. UCI was invited to become one of the association’s founding members and was elected as a council member of the Shunyi District Association of Industrial Internet.

The conference was attended by Gu Jinxu, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; Du Yue, member of the Party Leadership Group of Beijing Shunyi District People’s Government and Deputy District Mayor of Shunyi District; Wang Jianwei, Vice President and Executive Secretary-General of the China Electronic Information Industry Federation; Zhao Xiangwei, Deputy Director of the Information Technology and Software Services Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; Zhang Zheng, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Beijing Shunyi District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; responsible officers, experts and scholars from entities such as the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Technology and Business University, and Beijing Service Alliance for Integration of Informationalization and Industrialization; and leaders of members of the Beijing Shunyi District Association of Industrial Internet, along with media representatives.

Currently, the association has conducted surveys on enterprises like UCI to gain insights into the development needs of its members. Extensive discussions and exchanges have been held on topics such as the current industry status, development plans, association building, and efforts to secure central government financial support for digital construction projects among enterprises in Shunyi District.

Yan Tongzhu, Council Chairman of the Beijing Shunyi District Association of Industrial Internet, outlined the association’s key tasks for the next phase: First, to identify the digital transformation needs of key sectors, gather high-quality digital service providers, and facilitate precise matchmaking; second, to implement supportive policies, promote compliance assessments, and organize activities related to digital transformation standards and DCMM compliance; third, to organize exchange activities, attract investment, promote the clustering of the industrial internet industry in Shunyi District, and develop the industrial internet ecosystem in the district.

As a council member of the association, UCI will leverage the full industry chain advantages of BUCG, focus on digital economy and digital transformation trends, and continuously utilize cloud-edge-end technological advantages. It strives to develop smart solutions across multiple fields such as Smart Construction Site, Smart Construction, Smart Property Management, and Smart Airport, with the goal to provide comprehensive digital products and services throughout the urban construction process, and contribute to the innovative development of the digital industry in Beijing and beyond.
