UCI Fuzhou Production Base Sprints at Full Capacity to Fulfill Production Tasks for Bitong Line

In April, Fujian Province is vibrant with spring, where everything is rejuvenating. During this energetic season, UCI’s autonomous and controllable intelligent manufacturing production base (the Production Base) enters its peak production phase, sprinting at full capacity to ensure the production tasks of the Bitong Line are fulfilled.
In the dust-free cleaning workshop of the Production Base, machines roar and personnel are busy. SMT, DIP, Three-Proof coating, automatic assembly, and semi-automatic packaging lines operate at high speed, while workers diligently carry out production tasks. On the production line, every step is closely connected, with clear division of labor among workers to ensure smooth production flow.
Under the high-powered electronic microscope, the microstructures of the circuit boards—such as solder joint uniformity, circuit wiring precision, and component soldering quality—details imperceptible to the naked eye, vividly display on the screen. Following this, these boards undergo a series of rigorous quality tests including functional, performance and stability tests. Those that pass are designated as qualified products, then packaged, labeled, categorized, and finally leave the production line. These high-quality boards are subsequently shipped via logistics channels to Chongqing, where they become vital components of the Bitong Line, akin to indispensable “screws”, collectively ensuring the project’s stable operation.
Currently, the Bitong Line project is at a crucial stage, with particular emphasis on the launch of fire protection products. UCI’s independently developed six fire protection products face not only a high demand but also tight delivery deadlines. To address these challenges, the Production Base has swiftly ramped up production efforts, meticulously managing every step from rigorous raw material selection to refined production processes. With each stage progressing in full swing, the goal is to ensure the smooth advancement of the Bitong Line project.
As a modern, highly automated and intelligent manufacturing plant covering around 5,688 m2, the Production Base operates efficiently with just 32 employees, including office staff. Today, in response to urgent production demands, all members, from management to frontline workers, have wholeheartedly engaged in this production work. Working overtime and tirelessly, they embody the resolute belief and determination of “putting all efforts into completing production”, demonstrating not only the core values of UCI’s striver culture but also its relentless pursuit of excellence and steadfast commitment to customers.
The bustling scene at the Production Base has attracted close attention from UCI and garnered widespread concern from various sectors of society.
On March 24, Wang Zhiyong, a Standing Committee member and Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of BUCG, visited the Production Base for inspection. He highly praised the advanced facilities and cutting-edge technologies at the base, acknowledged it as a pioneer within BUCG and aligning with the strategic direction of developing new quality productive forces, and highlighted that its advanced experience is worth promoting across the entire group. Wang noted that with the continuous rapid growth of UCI’s business, he believed the Production Base will soon achieve full capacity operation. This trend also places higher demands on the Party organization construction of the Fujian branch, emphasizing the need to uphold and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and promote the sustained high-quality development of the Production Base.
Meanwhile, Wang Zhiyong emphasized the leadership role that the Party organization should play, especially highlighting the exemplary role of Party members. He encouraged the Production Base to actively cultivate new Party members and continuously strengthen the Party’s ranks, and stressed the importance of genuinely caring for employees’ lives and work. This ensures that while pursuing efficient production, a safe and healthy working environment is provided for the employees.
On April 11, President Tang Jianghong and General Manager Wu Jianhua of Fujian UCI, visited the Production Base to inspect current production conditions and the range of producible products. Tang Jianghong specifically noted a significant potential demand for PCBA processing in Fuzhou, expressing keen interest in the Production Base’s order fulfillment capabilities. After detailed discussions on order fulfillment and production scheduling at the base, both leaders expressed willingness to provide necessary support and assistance to help expand the base’s scale and enhance its market competitiveness. This is aimed at better meeting local market demands and fostering continued development in intelligent manufacturing through deeper collaboration.
In the first quarter, besides handling routine production tasks, the Production Base also welcomed multiple visits from industry leaders seeking collaboration opportunities and investors interested in intelligent manufacturing. During these visits, they gained insights into various production processes at the base, appreciating the refinement and efficiency of the production workflows. Discussions also covered detailed aspects of production processes, quality control measures, and market prospects. Customers highly praised the construction and operation of the Production Base, considering it a professional and efficient manufacturing facility. They were impressed by the advanced technology and rigorous quality control systems at the base and expressed willingness to establish long-term collaboration to explore markets and jointly promote the sustainability of the intelligent manufacturing industry.
As the Bitong Line project progresses, the Production Base has played a key role in ensuring its smooth execution. By pushing production to its limits, it has ensured timely delivery of high-quality boards and equipment required for the Bitong Line, providing strong support for the project’s stable operation. In the future, the Production Base will continue to delve into intelligent manufacturing, aiming to provide solid assurance for more significant projects moving forward.
