On April 12, the Informationization Committee of the China Association of Metros (CAMET) convened its second plenary session of the second committee and the 2023 annual conference in Taiyuan. The conference focused on the theme “Data for Urban Rail, Informationization for Future: Promoting Sustainable Development of Urban Rail Transit”, and attracted numerous leading figures in the urban rail transit industry’s information technology construction for thorough discussions.

At the conference, the list of outstanding cases for best practices in information technology in the urban rail industry for 2022-2023 was announced. UCI’s Smart Scheduling and Passenger Traffic Organization System Based on Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative Model” was successfully selected as an excellent case in the category of information technology solutions.

The conference was hosted by the Informationization Committee of the CAMET, organized by Taiyuan Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd., and co-organized by UCI. UCI was represented at the conference by Wang Linghong, Deputy Secretary of the general Party branch committee and General Manager of UCI, Sun Jing, Deputy General Manager of UCI, Chen Dong, Head of UCI Hangzhou Branch, and Zhang Dongdong, Manager of UCI’s Smart Products Center. They engaged in discussions on the conference theme with industry leaders from Taiyuan Metro, Shanghai Shentong Metro, Guangzhou Metro, Shenzhen Metro, Nanjing Metro, Fuzhou Rail Transit, Suzhou Rail Transit, Ningbo Rail Transit, Beijing Jiaotong University, and other entities involved in urban rail transit informationization and enterprise digital transformation.

During the conference, Zhang Dongdong delivered a keynote presentation titled “Application and Prospects of Data Standardization in Urban Rail Transit Work Safety Network”. The conference reviewed the 2023 Work Report of the Informationization Committee and provided explanations on the inclusion of new member entities, as well as adjustments and additions to deputy directors, committee members, and deputy secretaries-general.

To ensure the smooth convening of this conference, the UCI Marketing Department and the UCI Taiyuan Branch fully cooperated with the CAMET and Taiyuan Metro in handling conference reception affairs.
