Taiyuan Metro Line 1 Cloud Platform Project Achieves Cloud Networking
CreateDate:2024-05-13
Recently, the cloud platform system project for Taiyuan Urban Rail Transit Line 1 Phase I (the Taiyuan Metro Line 1 Cloud Platform) achieved connectivity to the work safety network across all nodes and stations along the entire line ahead of schedule. This robustly ensured the smooth progress of the testing and commissioning of the entire Taiyuan Metro Line 1.
The entire Taiyuan Metro Line 1 spans 29 km with a total of 24 stations, one depot, and one parking yard. It comprises three ring networks: Ring One (western section with 9 stations and Xishan Parking Yard), Ring Two (central section with 10 stations), and Ring Three (southern section with 5 stations and Malianying Depot).
The cloud platform system network covers Ring One, Ring Two, Ring Three, and the main and backup control centers. According to the time requirements set by the Taiyuan Metro Line 1 testing and commissioning team for train commissioning, the cloud platform system must promptly offer connectivity to and between all nodes of the work safety network, and ensure that the deployment conditions for the comprehensive monitoring system and signaling system on the cloud platform are met.
UCI’s Taiyuan Metro Line 1 Cloud Platform project team meticulously planned and executed the work according to schedule requirements. They conducted comprehensive surveys of all stations along the entire line, prioritizing tasks and mitigating various unfavorable factors. Initially focusing on train commissioning for stations in Ring Three, they prioritized delivering data connectivity for equipment centralized at all stations across the entire line.
To effectively ensure project progress and complete related tasks with high quality and standards, project team members gave up their vacations and worked tirelessly on-site. They successfully achieved data connectivity for all stations in Ring Three first, by the end of April established data connectivity for all stations in Ring Two and between the central system and stations, and by early May delivered data connectivity for all stations and the central system along the entire line. With this, the cloud platform system achieved connectivity to the work safety network across all nodes and stations along the entire line, thereby completing the tasks ahead of schedule.
During the May Day holiday, the project team arranged personnel to safeguard the central system and inspect station systems, with an aim to ensure smooth and normal data connectivity of the cloud platform system, and lay a solid foundation for the testing and commissioning of trains of the entire Line 1.
