UCI’s QC Achievement Wins Two Awards in Beijing Quality Management

Recently, UCI’s QC achievement “Improving the First Pass Yield of Integrated Equipment Appearance Quality in Control Rooms”, which was submitted to the Beijing Municipal Engineering Association (BMEA) and the Beijing Construction Association (BCA), won the first prize for the Excellent Quality Management Team in Beijing Municipal Engineering Construction 2023 and the Class I Achievement Award from the BCA Engineering Construction Quality Management Team 2024 with its outstanding content and on-site performance. This honor greatly affirms the quality improvement work of the “Craftsmanship QC Team” and fully demonstrates UCI’s strength and great presence in the field of quality management.

Members of the “Craftsmanship QC Team” actively introduced innovative quality control methods and advanced tools during their quality improvement activities. They conducted an experiment with a L9(34) orthogonal array with 3 levels and 3 factors, thus precisely determining the optimal parameters to ensure the effectiveness of their improvements. These efforts significantly enhanced and stabilized the appearance quality of the integrated equipment in the control rooms. This achievement reflects UCI’s unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in product quality.

Since first participating in BUCG’s quality management activities in 2022, UCI has been dedicated to improving its quality management capabilities. After a year of significant effort and meticulous preparation, UCI made remarkable progress in 2023, producing five QC team achievements and emerging as a formidable new force in BUCG’s quality management activities. Obtaining the recent awards from two municipal associations in Beijing recognizes UCI’s hard work over the past year and also gives great impetus to its future quality management endeavors.
