Recently, Zhao Jianqing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Changchun, led a delegation of relevant department heads to visit the Zhongguancun Digital Economic Industry Alliance (ZDEA) and discuss the high-quality development of the digital economy. During this visit, the two parties jointly held the Exchange Symposium on High-Quality Development of the Digital Economy, which was chaired by Chang Yi, the Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of ZDEA. UCI, as a vice chairman unit of ZDEA, was invited to participate along with six other counterparts. Wang Linghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of UCI, attended the symposium on behalf of the company.

At the symposium, Mr. Zhao Jianqing first introduced the development plan, key tasks and policy system of Changchun’s digital economy. He states that the city emphasizes the development of the digital information industry and is committed to creating a new highland for digital economy development. He welcomed ZDEA and its member enterprises to invest and start businesses in Changchun to jointly promote the high-quality development of the digital economy. He also welcomed member enterprises to carry out multi-field and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in Changchun to establish long-term and close cooperative relationships and to achieve more fruitful results.

Chang Yi warmly welcomed Zhao Jianqing and his delegation, providing a detailed introduction to ZDEA’s development history, key work and future plans. He noted that Changchun’s momentum for new growth drivers is continuously strengthening, with the digital economy developing rapidly. The alliance will actively promote the establishment of a long-term mechanism with Changchun City, leveraging its role as a platform and its resource integration advantages and organizing more outstanding member units to set up branches and invest in the city. Additionally, the alliance aims to assist in Changchun’s digital transformation and in building a digital economy industry cluster.

At the symposium, Wang Linghong introduced the main solutions, technical capabilities and achievements of UCI in the areas of digital transportation and cities to the leaders of the Changchun Municipal People’s Government and other attendees. He expressed that UCI is actively responding to the national “digital economy” strategy. The company is willing to rely on its profound accumulation in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to provide experienced and industry-leading team support for various fields of Changchun’s digital economy, contributing to the high-quality development of digital economy in the city.

The successful hosting of this symposium not only deepened the mutual understanding in the field of digital economy and trust between ZDEA and the government but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. In the future, UCI will maintain close communication with the Changchun Municipal People’s Government and collaborate with other member units of the alliance to jointly promote the high-quality development of the digital economy. This effort will support Changchun in building a digital economy industry cluster and contribute more to the construction of smart cities.
