On March 18, the inauguration of UCI Jingyu Zhitong (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. (“Jingyu Zhitong”) was held at Block I, Gaoke Headquarters Plaza, No. 64 Huangshan Avenue Middle, Yubei District, Chongqing. The new company was jointly inaugurated by Wu Ming, former Vice General Manager of Chongqing Rail Transit Group and Chongqing Railway Group, Zhang Hui, Secretary of the general Party branch committee and Chairman of UCI, independent director Cao Wenli, and Wu Zhengzhong, UCI Vice General Manager, Chief Engineer and Executive Director of Jingyu Zhitong.

In his speech, Wu Ming warmly congratulated the establishment of Jingyu Zhitong and expressed high expectations for the company’s prospects. He pointed out that the challenges in digital transportation and digital city construction in China’s southwest region present opportunities for Jingyu Zhitong to demonstrate its professional strengths and innovative capabilities. Currently involved in the Chongqing Bitong Line project, Jingyu Zhitong sees this as not only the starting point for its new business ventures but also a litmus test for its technological prowess and service levels. Jingyu Zhitong is expected to fully leverage cutting-edge technologies like cloud signaling to bring transformation to transportation and infrastructure development in Chongqing and the broader southwest region. In his address, Zhang Hui emphasized that the establishment of Jingyu Zhitong aims to better serve Chongqing’s urban rail transit construction, promote the digital economic industrialization across southwestern China, advance the modern industrial system, accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, and contribute more intelligence and strength into Chongqing’s development. This milestone marks a solid step forward for UCI in building its presence in the market of digital transportation and digital city in southwestern China. The day before the inauguration, Jingyu Zhitong held its founding ceremony and a development planning seminar.
