Recently, UCI won the bid for the 2024 China Telecom Ningxia Artificial Intelligence Computing Basic Service Capability Centralized Procurement Project, with an amount of 196 million yuan.

The core goal of this project is to enhance the computing basic service capabilities of China Telecom Ningxia Intelligent Computing Center by introducing cutting-edge AI servers and related hardware facilities, thereby promoting its leapfrog development in the field of artificial intelligence computing. Currently, the construction of this intelligent computing center is in full swing. Its completion will fill the gap in intelligent computing centers in Yinchuan and lay a solid foundation for the rapid development of the regional computing power industry. The intelligent computing center will deeply integrate into the computing power industry and widely apply artificial intelligence, promoting the combination of industrializing digital systems and digitalizing industries and contributing to the takeoff of the local digital economy.

This project is the fourth intelligent computing center project UCI has won this year. Prior to this, the company had won bids for Shaanxi Ankang Intelligent Computing Center, Guangzhou Intelligent Computing Center (Phase I) and Yichang Data Center, with a total winning amount exceeding 2 billion yuan. This fully demonstrates UCI’s solid accumulation and significant advantages in the field of intelligent computing.
